The MAX 2 is a compact amphibious 6×6 ATV designed for work and recreation in challenging terrain. With full-time six-wheel traction, responsive handling, and a rugged drivetrain, it confidently tackles mud, trails, snow, shallow water, and remote environments.

MAX is extremely versatile and unmatched in maneuverability due to its non-differential skid-steering ability, resulting in true full-time six-wheel drive.
A crucial technical advantage MAX has over other makes of off-road vehicles, whether they are amphibious or not, is the use of the T-20 Skid Steer Transmission, originally developed by Borg-Warner.
Briggs & Stratton’s Vanguard 23 HP 627cc V-Twin EFI engine offers the best power-to-weight ratio on the market at 3.35 lbs/HP (77 lbs/23 HP). The engine also offers improved torque compared to competitors at 2.2 lbs/lb-ft (77 lbs/35 lb-ft).
This premium engine is standard in all MAX Amphibious ATVs. Enjoy instant startup in hot and cold temperatures without the hassle of a choke and experience quick acceleration that will literally push you back into your seat!Â
MAX’s engine is also equipped with a recoil pull-start and an internal high performance cooling fan for the engine area.
The Recreatives T-20 Transmission now includes matched ring gear and carrier drum sets machined from billet using the same high grade steel used for the complete gear train, thus improving the T-20’s strength and rigidity.
Safety, reliability, and low maintenance is what every MAX has to offer. Every new MAX ATV is equipped with high quality X-Ring chain, which offers performance benefits compared to O-Ring chain and standard chain used in other amphibious ATV brands.
MAX’s upper and lower bodies are now formed thicker for increased rigidity and strength.
Every new MAX 2 is equipped with our factory roll bar and seatbelts for 2 passengers.
MAX’s new LED head lights and tail lights significantly increase night visibility and reduce power consumption.
MAX is equipped with an illuminated Tachometer and GPS Speedometer to display an accurate speed whether you’re on land or in water.

MAX’s winch package comes with a 2,500 lb. winch made by Warn – one of the most reputable winch brands in the industry. A winch is an important feature if you’re exploring off the beaten trail alone, or if you later decide to add a snow plow to your MAX.
Need extra space to carry your gear or mount your guns? MAX’s front cargo rack utilizes the front of the vehicle so you can bring ALL of your gear to your hunting spot or fishing hole.
Keep the wind and branches out of the way when cruising down the trail and exploring off the trail.
Keep yourself warm in cold weather and dry in wet weather with MAX’s convertible top. This enclosure is made using high quality Sunbrella marine-grade canvas to offer unmatched durability in rain and snow.
The side and rear curtains can be rolled up, unzipped at the top for ventilation, or removed completely if desired.
Combining a snow plow with MAX’s skid-steering ability turns MAX into an ultimate plowing machine!
