The Buffalo Truck combines amphibious capability, full-time 6-wheel drive traction, and serious hauling performance in a purpose-built utility vehicle. Featuring seating for two and a powered tilt bed capable of carrying up to 1,000 lbs. on land, the Buffalo is engineered to tackle mud, water, snow, and challenging terrain while carrying the people and equipment needed to get the job done.
Vehicle Highlights
Briggs & Stratton’s Vanguard 23 HP 627cc V-Twin EFI engine offers the best power-to-weight ratio on the market at 3.35 lbs/HP (77 lbs/23 HP). The engine also offers improved torque compared to competitors at 2.2 lbs/lb-ft (77 lbs/35 lb-ft).
This premium engine is standard in all MAX Amphibious ATVs. Enjoy instant startup in hot and cold temperatures without the hassle of a choke and experience quick acceleration that will literally push you back into your seat!
The Buffalo Truck’s engine is also equipped with a recoil pull-start and an internal high performance cooling fan for the engine area.
The Recreatives T-20 Transmission now includes matched ring gear and carrier drum sets machined from billet using the same high grade steel used for the complete gear train, thus improving the T-20’s strength and rigidity.
Safety, reliability, and low maintenance is what every MAX has to offer. Every new MAX ATV is equipped with high quality X-Ring chain, which offers performance benefits compared to O-Ring chain and standard chain used in other amphibious ATV brands.
The Buffalo Truck’s upper and lower bodies are now formed thicker for increased rigidity and strength.

The Buffalo Truck’s new LED head lights and tail lights significantly increase night visibility and reduce power consumption.

With the addition of our removable all-season rubber track kit, the BUFFALO TRUCK will readily negotiate deep snow, soft mud, and forbidding swamps. Rubber tracks drastically lower ground pressure and ride as smoothly as tires. Rubber tracks can be used year ’round if desired.
